Time series analysis of annual trends
The CEPS database contains the development of the foundation landscape in Switzerland since 2009. These include new foundations and liquidations of the foundations. For the years before 2009, no liquidations are recorded. New foundations before 2009 are visible, but only for foundations which existed, or still exist, until at least 2009. To illustrate: if a foundation was founded in 2001 and liquidated in 2007, neither the liqudation in 2007 nor the new foundation is recorded in 2001. The data before 2009 must be evaluated, taking this into account.
Frequency table
The database for all cross tables contains current non-profit foundations in Switzerland. Deleted foundations, as well as non-profit foundations are not taken into account. Glossary If at least one of these variables is selected, the sum of columns or rows does not represent the number of foundations, but rather the number of classifications.
